Roosevelt student 'Beats the Odds,'

Roosevelt High School senior Eduardo Sanchez Beltran on March 16 was awarded a $4,000 “Beat the Odds” scholarship from Children’s Defense Fund (CDF) – Minnesota. Eduardo was one of four students chosen from among the applicants from across the Twin Cities. Congratulations to Eduardo and the others who "Beat the Odds."

Viva City Visual Arts Exhibition

Roosevelt’s artists and musicians put their talents on display during Viva City 2012, the 18th annual citywide arts festival, held each March.

The Roosevelt Mosaic Festival will be held on Friday, May 18, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the Main Gym.

Join us in this celebration of arts, cultures and diversity. Ample parking near entrance to the event on 30th Avenue South. The event is free and open to the public!

For students and families who are new to Roosevelt and Minneapolis Public Schools, school staff is ready to help you get registered for the school year.

School staff will usually be available to help you complete the registration process at these times:

Mon, Thurs:  8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Tues: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Wed: 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Fri:  8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. 

Walk-in Registrations are welcome during scheduled times. New students and families may also call (612) 668-4845 to set up an appointment to complete registration.
