We serve our students and families with several programs of study, the IB Diploma Programme and Career-Related Certificate.  This fall we will be going through authorization for the IB Middle Years Programme. Our community understands the HIGH student expectations in place and we look forward to meeting those expectations for your student.

After families have gone to the Student Placement Center or the New Family Center and have been placed at Roosevelt, families need to call the counseling clerk, Gwen Voegtle, at 612-668-4845 to set up a registration appointment.  She will be back starting August 14th.

Dear Roosevelt Families,

On the first day of the 2017-2018 school year, August 28th, we will kick-off our year with new and different opportunities for students. We will include community building opportunities, leadership activities and service experiences as part of our day. Students will also meet with all of their teachers to learn about classroom expectations and receive an overview for the year.

In order to create a meaningful experience for all of our students we will be transporting students to locations around the Twin Cities. Please sign the electronic permission form below for your student to participate. Permission forms will be due June 7, 2017.

If you have any questions please contact Cristine Patlan, family liaison, at 612.668.4844.

*If your child has never attended a Minneapolis Public School, or they have not attended one for a year they will need to register. Even if you went to the New Families Center or to Student Placement and your child was placed at Roosevelt. Perhaps you received a letter saying your child was assigned to Roosevelt. This does not mean they are registered. If you are not sure then call Ms. Gwen at 612-668-4845 and she will help you. You will need a birth certificate and their shots record. Students who are not registered and have not filled out a course selection sheet may have the start of their school day delayed. We want to make sure that all of our students get to start on time and attend classes the very first day!
