Welcome to the Area B/Zone 2 Parent Advisory Council.
We are bringing home student achievement, and committed to seeing our children and community thrive. We look forward to meeting new parents and community members, and working together to improve our schools.

Mission
The mission of the Area B Parent Advisory Council (BPAC), is to gather parents, staff, community members and organizations from Area B to share information on current challenges and opportunities facing our schools. BPAC provides a supportive place for Members to share concerns and ideas, and work together to improve the Minneapolis Public Schools for all students. The Council works to make Area B schools more family-friendly, and responsive to community needs.
 
Membership:
All Area B parents, community members and organizations are welcome and encouraged to join us. The 10 Area B District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) Representatives (& 10 Alternates) are chosen at Council meetings to represent Area B at the District (City-wide) Parent Council.  We want all voices at the table, and we are seeking diverse representation on the Council. Please invite the Community, and share this information!
