Cory Myhran, Speech-Language Pathologist

Hello and welcome to my web page!  I'm excited to tell you a little bit about myself and what I do at Roosevelt High School.

I graduated from No. St. Paul High School in 1993.  I attended Winona State University for two years and then transferred to the University of Minnesota.  I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology.

I began my career as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Roosevelt High School in the fall of 1999.  In addition to Roosevelt, I was a part-time SLP at Lyndale Community School and Edison High School.  Luckily, I was able to become full-time at Roosevelt in the fall of 2002 and have been here ever since!  I work with a variety of students in our special education programs in the areas of articulation, language, fluency, voice, functional communication, and social skills.

I became Roosevelt's yearbook adviser in the fall of 2001.  This position has been challenging, yet extremely fun and rewarding at the same time.  I've created 13 yearbooks with amazing students over the years, and I've enjoyed co-teaching with Ms. Mollie Olson for the past two years.  The 2013 yearbook was my last hurrah.  I have mixed emotions about giving up the yearbook, but it is a decision that is right for me.

This year, I look forward to focusing my energy back on my speech-language caseload, as well as spending more time with my husband and daughter.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime regarding speech-language pathology.  My email address is:  You can also reach me by phone at 612-668-4836.
