Mrs. Clark - Biology and IB Biology

Welcome to my teacher page!  I teach Urban Farming, Biology and IB biology and this is my 4th year at Roosevelt.  I love being a Teddy!

I have a bachelor degree from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) and am working to finish my Masters in Education from Mankato.  I live a few blocks from school and love working in a community that I've started to feel so much a part of.  When I'm not at school you will often find me running or biking near one of the lakes.  I love to run, read, travel and cook and try to learn something new every day.

In my class you can expect to learn about the world around you as well as what goes on inside your own body.  We will talk about cells, ecology, natural selection and genetics - just to name a few.  I am excited to help you explore biology this year!

I can be found in room 253 during the school day (until 3:45).  Before or after school the best way to contact me is email:

A few of my favorite quotes (from my favorite scientists!)

"I will never ask you to believe anything.  It will only ever be about: How compelling is the evidence to you?" - Neil DeGrasse Tyson

"Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." - Carl Sagan
