Career Readiness in the Classroom

Are you looking to include more career readiness opportunities in your classroom?  Please fill out the form found in the link below and tell us how we can support you!  Once you submit the form, we will follow up with an email to get additional details.

TEACHER REQUEST FORM

Here is a brief description of the menu options listed on the form:

Resume, Cover Letter, or Interview Prep Workshops in the classroom - we can come into your classroom and lead workshops on these different topics to help ensure all of our students are work ready.

Speed Networking Event - we will work with a group of volunteers to come in and do a speed networking event.  This is a great way for students to practice talking to professionals, creating a personal introduction, and learning about a career field.  If you would like to partner with a group related to the subject you teach, we can find a good match.

Mock Interview Event - we will organize a group of volunteers to come in and complete mock interviews with students.  Interviewing is an extermely important skill, and practicing with professionals can help students feel more comfortable in a real interview situation.  Again, Ii you would like to partner with a group related to the subject you teach, we will find a good match.

Workplace Job Shadow/Tour - we can organize a career exposure event that is integrated into your curriculum.  For example, if you are teaching a unit on the legal system, we could organize a trip to the courthouse at the end of your unit!

Specific Career Speaker - if you would like to bring in a professional from a specific field related to a topic you are teaching, we can organize it.

Please conact Amanda Justen with any questions.
