EQUITY IN MPLS PUBLIC SCHOOLS
For the second time this year, we’re hosting a community conversation about equity and integration at Minneapolis Public Schools. Our equity conversation will be held in a World Cafe format from 6-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at the Davis Service Center. In order to make lasting change within our schools and develop a successful Achievement and Integration Plan, we need to hear from as many voices as possible.

ALL ARE WELCOME & SAFE AT RHS!
We, the community of Roosevelt High School, commit to the education, safety, and dignity of each and every individual involved in our community, including students, staff, families, and community members. In this spirit we will commit to the following:
We will respect the right of any individual involved with RHS to decline to provide personal information they feel will place them in harm's way. This includes, but is not limited to, immigration status, nationality, religious belief, gender identity, or sexual identity.
If an agent of any government identity (i.e., Immigration and Customs Enforcement) requests personal information about any student in our community or anyone connected to a student who is outside of school, they will not be given requested, or any, information without first consulting district General Counsel.
We will notify students and family members of any requests being made of them and provide them with resources to maintain their emotional and physical saftey.
Any information disclosed by students to complete financial aid applications or other college related forms will be held at the school only as long as necessary for the completion of the application. This information will not be disclosed to any other party than the intended by the student.
All are welcome in our community and our actions will reflect this belief.
Our school will remain a safe space for our students, staff and community members, free from the threat of intimidation, hostility or violence, including the threat of deportation.
