My name is Dalia Mohamed I am from Egypt and Arabic is my native language. I have been in the United States for the past 12 years. I have been teaching Arabic Language in MPLS district for three years. I started in South High school and this is my second year here in Roosevelt School. Furthermore; I have ten years of experience of teaching (k-12) grades for non-native speakers in Minnesota. I have Master of Education/ Initial Licensure in World Languages and Culture (Arabic), graduated 2014 from University of Minnesota
In addition, I graduated from Fine Art school from Egypt University, which provided me with a unique style of teaching language through arts. My students were motivated with a different style of learning. I believe my success as a teacher was proved in my students’ ability to communicate and write in Arabic as their second language to high level of satisfaction by students and parents
I have a passion for teaching Arabic languages and working to support and guide my students to get on a new language and culture that was one of my reasons to enter the school of education and be an effective teacher and help my students to understand and respect other peoples’ cultures and languages.
