Scholarships

The Roosevelt Scholarship Application is now closed!  Check back next year for the 2019/2020 application!

AKA Scholarship (Deadline April 1): More information at https://www.akadpo.org/scholarship

Eligibility:

  • African-American high school graduating senior - Class of 2019
  • Minimum cumulative and unweighted GPA of 3.0 (scale of 4.0)
  • Demonstrated leadership and community service
  • Acceptance at 2 - 4 year accredited institution of higher education in FALL 2019 (scholarships will not be distributed until proof of full-time enrollment is received)
  • Resident of Minnesota

Mike Zimmer Scholarship (Deadline April 15): More information and application at https://www.mikezimmerfoundation.org/mvp-scholarship-s

Eligibility:

  • Must be a senior graduating from a Minnesota High School in 2018.
  • Must have participated in a Varsity Sport in high school.
  • Must have good academic standing with a 2.75 or higher GPA.
  • Must plan to attend an accredited college, university, or community college.
  • Must have participated in an extracurricular activity or volunteered in the community

Page Education Scholarship (Deadline May 1): Annual awards range from $1,000-$2,500 per student. Page Grant amounts vary based on the type of post-secondary educational institution the applicant attends. Awards are equally distributed between two semesters. Eligibility:

  • A student of color (Black African American, American Indian, Asian American or Pacific Islander, or Latino/a or Hispanic.)
  • A graduate of a Minnesota high school.
  • Enrolled in an accredited Minnesota post-secondary educational institution.
  • Register and maintain full-time status throughout the academic year they are awarded the grant in order to remain eligible.

´╗┐IMPORTANT DETAILS FOR ALL APPLICANTS:

There is no GPA requirement.

Non U.S. Citizens are encouraged to apply.

This grant is awarded per academic year and must be renewed annually.
