ACT DAY Feb. 27th

ACT for ALL DAY February 27th, 2018

Tuesday, Feb. 27th is the district-wide ACT testing day for our 11th grade students. Students will need to arrive on time to take the test. Check in will begin at 8am, testing doors will be closed at 8:30.  *Any student arriving after that time will not be admitted in to their testing room and will be directed to a study hall for the day. If students have their own scientific calculators they may bring them. Otherwise, calculators are being provided by the math department. All other electronic devices are not allowed in the testing room, or are to be used during breaks.  Electronic devices may only be used when testing is completed.  Failure to follow this rule will result in the test being invalidated.

10th graders will be taking a practice ACT test and must also arrive on time to take the test. Calculators will NOT be provided. Students must bring their own scientific calculators or they will test without one. Calculators may not be shared during the test.

9th graders will be going on college visits for the day. Permission slips were sent home with students and were also sent through email.

12th graders will have a variety of options to sign up for in the College and Career Center which they will complete on their own that day. Among the options are taking the Accuplacer College Admission test at Roosevelt. Students should see Amanda or Tiffany in the CCC to sign up.

*Any student who arrives late to school will be in a study hall for the day as no regular classes will take place on this day.
