Why should I see my Roosevelt Counselor?

Counselors help students and families in the areas of academics, post-secondary (college and career) planning, and personal/emotional concerns.

We'll help you with:

  • Academic assistance.
  • Tracking progress toward graduation.
  • Opportunities to make up credits.
  • Letters of recommendation and planning life after high school.
  • Ways to get involved and connected to the RHS community.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making strategies.
  • Referrals for support, including mental and chemical health services.
  • Challenging life circumstances.

Each student at Roosevelt is assigned to one of three counselors, according to their last name.

Please click the counselor's picture to the right or go to the left under "counselors" to visit their personal page and learn more about your counselor!

The Roosevelt Counseling department has additional staff through the GEAR UP program and in the Career and College Center.  Please click on the icons to the right or the program name to the left to meet the counseling staff in these programs and to learn more!
