Hello and welcome to my web page! I'm excited to tell you a little bit about myself and what I do at Roosevelt High School.
I graduated from the University of Minnesota with a B.S. in Speech and Hearing Science, and M.A. in Speech-Language Pathology. I began my career as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) at Roosevelt High School in the fall of 1999. In addition to Roosevelt, I was a part-time SLP at Lyndale Community School and Edison High School. Luckily, I was able to become full-time at Roosevelt in the fall of 2002 and have been a Teddy ever since! This year, I'm also at Northeast Middle School, one day a week. At Roosevelt, I work with a variety of students in our special education programs in the areas of articulation, language, fluency, functional communication, and social skills.
Additionally, this is my 3rd year as the advisor for the Asian Student Association at Roosevelt. Our goal is to support and uplift our Asian students and their voices. This is a student-led group, and we will meet on Fridays during club time. We are incredibly proud of our AANHPI Month Celebrations these past two years in May.
