This is my 4th year as a teaching member of the Roosevelt High School Community.

This year I am teaching Strategies for Success and Senior

I get to co-teach with literally one of the best teachers I know in the world and it's a joy to be around her, Ms. Reigstad and I will be co-teaching 3rd hour Biology with together. I also get to co-teach with the NOTOURIOUS, Mr. Neufeld, 6th hour Physical Science.

More about myself: 

-I am a first-generation Minnesotan, my family is from Indiana, and other states in the Midwest.  

-I’ve played many roles in the Minneapolis School District. I’ve been a Special Ed Assistant, Associate Educator, and now I’m teaching my 4th year as a, Special Education Resource Teacher!  

- I am also the Club Advisor of Black Student Union, one of the coolest clubs we got here at Roosevelt High School, so make sure you get signed up! We have an amazing group of students who help keep the Union going! 

-I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from Saint Cloud State University and Master of Arts degree in Special Education Teaching, at the University of Saint Thomas.  

 -My primary focuses this year is to foster success during distant learning and making sure that ALL students are getting an equitable education and leave this learning community as a service leader!
