Welcome to Roosevelt College Possible!
College Possible is a college access and success program for Juniors and Seniors at Roosevelt High School.  Students with a 2.0 or higher GPA can apply in the spring of their Sophomore year (there are no citizenship requirements).  Students work with their coaches twice a week after school to prepare for the ACT, learn about colleges and universities, and prepare their college applications!  After high school, College Possible students get continued support of our college program until they achieve their goal of college graduation regardless of where they choose to attend school.  For more information on College Possible, please visit our website at
Meet the 2015-2016 Roosevelt College Possible Coaches!
Johanna Foster
Johanna Foster, Junior Coach
Johanna Foster grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois and graduated from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa in May 2015 with a B.A. in Sociology. As a College Possible Junior Coach at Roosevelt, she is thrilled to join students as they embark on their journey to become members of the college graduating class of 2021! When not at College Possible, Johanna spends her time cooking, reading, and spending as much time as she can outside. Her ideal food is a perfect grilled cheese sandwich.
Vincent Henry Jr, Junior Coach
Vincent Henry Jr.
Vincent Henry Jr. is a 2015 graduate of Augsburg College in Minneapolis, MN where he majored in Business/Economics with a minor in Management Information Systems. He has spent a majority of his life in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, eventually graduating from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in Plymouth, MN. Being a former College Possible student, Vincent felt the need to return to the organization as a Junior Coach to make an impact in students’ lives the same way his coaches did when he was a student. When he is not with his students, Vincent enjoys watching movies, hanging out with friends, and catching up on some much needed sleep.
Brynn Rathjen, Senior Coach
Brynn Rathjen
Brynn Rathjen grew up in Waupaca, WI and graduated from St. Olaf College in 2013 where she majored in Psychology and minored in Women’s and Gender Studies. After graduating, Brynn moved to Malaysia for a year to teach English as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant. She started serving with College Possible last spring and is so excited to be back at Roosevelt this year supporting seniors as they tackle the college application process! Brynn’s other interests include playing in sports leagues such as volleyball and Ultimate Frisbee, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
