I was born and raised on the south side of Minneapolis. I attended Ramsey IFAC (Now Justice Page Middle school), I graduated high school from the South Open program in 2001, and I am now a Teddy! I began teaching in 2006 in Chicago and spent nine years as a high school, middle school, and elementary school teacher, as well as various other roles within the building and School Network.
I completed my undergraduate degree at Iowa State University, completed a Master's degree at Concordia University - Chicago, and an Educational Specialist degree at Concordia University - St. Paul.
