P-EBT HOTLINE
The 2020-2021 P-EBT Hotline is now open. The hotline can be reached Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Families can get assistance, in multiple languages, by completing the P-EBT Help Form or calling 651-431-4608 or 833-454-0153.
The P-EBT Hotline and P-EBT Help Form can help families:
· Answer general questions relating to P-EBT
· Sign up for or opt out of P-EBT texting
· Understand notifications you received from the P-EBT program
· Answer questions about the amount and timing of benefits issued to your card.

SENIOR MEGAN CONNELLY PHOTO CONTEST WINNER!
Senior Megan Connelly was one of the winners of the Expressions Challenge that Walgreens sponsors. Megan submitted photos that she took at George Floyd Square and is the recipient of a $500 prize as well as having her photos displayed at Walgreens on Hiawatha Avenue. Congratulations Megan!!

The Mpls Beacon's will continue the tradition of afterschool FREE programming, in person located at the Downtown YMCA (651 Nicollet Mall).

MISCELLANEOUS HELP ITEMS
For students having tech trouble:
Please text your name and ID and what the issue is to 612-217-4476
We will communicate back with the student about when to come and exchange the tech, or we will give them the information they need to use their tech (logins, emails, password changes). we will also follow up if there is a unique issue
Materials pickup:
Students can come pick up materials M-F between 9-2 at door 1 (Front Door).
Bus cards:
You must email Elizabeth.Larson@Mpls.k12.mn.us first to get it made. When she says it is ready you can come to pick it up at door 6. The educational Benefits form at www.schoolcafe.com must be completed first to determine buscard eligibility.

Roosevelt freshman, Bella Santan took 2nd place at the History Day state competition. Her subject is Breaking the Barrier for Women in Clinical Trials.
She will be moving on to nationals, the ONLY Mpls Public School student to be representing.

Mental health support line: 612-767-4158
MPS has partnered with Watercourse Counseling Center to create a telephone support line for our school community. The support line is available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday. There will be support for multiple languages. Call 612-767-4158. The service will link students, families and staff to a therapist and other resources.
