SPOOKY WEEK IS COMING...

Monday..Flannel day, wear your favorite form of flannel!

Tuesday..Decades day 9th gr-90’s, 10th gr-00’s, 11th gr-70’s, 12th gr-80’s

Wednesday..Fall Color day. 9th brown, 10th orange, 11th gold, 12th maroon

Thursday..Black out BEFORE Freaky Friday! Limited supply of Zombear shirts being sold in the lunchroom or just wear black!

FREAKY FRIDAY...Students dress like teachers, teachers dress like students!

Spooky grams are being sold for $1 in the lunchroom through Thursday, delivered 3rd hour on Friday. Send one to someone who could use a smile:)

NATIONAL MERIT

Congratulations to Will Janzen, a senior at Roosevelt, for being awarded a Semifinalist in the 2022 National Merit Scholarship Program.  This is a prestigious award and less than 1% of the students who took the PSAT test as a junior become Semifinalist.   He will have a chance to win a scholarship through the National Merit Scholarship Program.

REGISTERING AT ROOSEVELT

Registration Information: To register your child at Roosevelt High School—

First, call the Student Placement Center at 612-668-1840 to have your child placed at Roosevelt High

Next, contact Sharonda Smith, Registrar, at 612-668-4845 to enroll at Roosevelt High and to set an appointment with your student’s school counselor, social worker, and nurse.

Finally, complete the course selection form by viewing informational videos, reading the course catalogue, and completing the Course Selection form at https://roosevelt.mpls.k12.mn.us/2021-2022_course_registraton
