◈OUR LAND ACKNOWLEDGMENT STATEMENT: The land that surrounds us is part of who we are; it reflects our histories. We acknowledge the Indigenous homelands that our school and city is built on. Land acknowledgement is only one small part of supporting Indigenous communities. We hope our land acknowledgment statement will inspire others to stand with us in solidarity with Native nations.
