Hello, my name is Chris Skoglund. This is my fifthteenth-year teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools and my second year at Roosevelt. This year, I will be a part of the RISE program at Roosevelt and teaching 9th grade AVID.  I am also an assistant Track and Field coach at Minneapolis North High School and enjoy long distance running. 

When I am not teaching, I spend my time volunteering as a firefighter for the city of Eden Prairie.  During my free time, I love to spend time outside enjoying the weather through various activities.  I was born in Minneapolis and live within the city I serve. I went to school at the University of Minnesota-Duluth where I received my bachelors in Secondary Education.

I am very excited to be a part of the Roosevelt community and support all the students who walk through the doors at Roosevelt. Go Teddies!
