• Ongoing through end of window 1:1 Speaking with case managers.

ALTERNATE ACCESS will be conducted 1:1 with case managers through out testing window (1/29-3/22).

MCA/MTAS

MCA/MTAS 10th Gr Reading & Science (all grades could be eligible for Science) | 11th Grade Math. 

• 10th Grade Reading conducted in English Classes March 6 & 7. (make up testing through May 3)
• 11th Grade Math conducted in math class March 12 & 13. (make up testing through May 3)
• High School Science conducted in Biology Classes April  9, 10. (make up testing through May 10)
• MTAS will be conducted on a case by case basis throughout the window one on one with student/case managers. (Window March 4-May3)

PSAT FOR 10TH & 11TH GRADE OCTOBER 12TH:

Who can take this test? This optional test is a national assessment for Grade 11 students and is used to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Program.   Grade 10 may take it as a practice SAT test; they may not enter the National Merit scholarship competition.

When and where is the PSAT test?    Thursday October 12th in the main gym.  Registration is now closed. TEST IS NOW ONLINE.

What is the cost?   It is free for 11th grade students on free/reduced lunch.  For those 11th graders who are not on free/reduced lunch and for 10th graders, the cost is $20.  You can pay by check (to Roosevelt High School) or cash.   If you are not sure if you qualify for free/reduced lunch, staff will have a list of those who filled out the online lunch form and who qualifies for the fee waiver. If parents have not filled out the online lunch form yet, they must do so in order for their child to have the possibility to qualify for a fee waiver.  

When to sign up?    Registration now closed.     

Are there ways to practice for the PSAT?  Yes, we have practice test booklets you can pick up when you sign up for the PSAT.  School issued devices have BlueBook app where test will be taken and practice tests are available.  Students should register for a College Board account to access practice tests via BlueBook app.  Students with thier own device can download the Bluebook app here.

What students bring to the test?     

• If you have a calculator, please bring it!  Calculators will be available online. 
• A water bottle and a snack for our 5 minute break time.
